The Greater Miami Symphonic Band invites you to a joyous HOLIDAY CONCERT with a celebration of Christmas and Hanukkah, on SUNDAY, DECEMBER 14, 2025 at 6PM at the Maurice Gusman Concert Hall on the campus of the University of Miami (1300 Miller Drive, Coral Gables, FL 33143). Valet parking will be available for $10. On-campus parking payable by phone or Pay Station near the Ring Theater next to Gusman Hall.

Join us for a festive musical journey that brings the warmth, wonder, and joy of the season to life! This year’s holiday concert features a dazzling blend of beloved traditions, cherished carols, and symphonic showstoppers performed under the direction of two extraordinary conductors.

The evening opens with Music Director Robert Longfield taking the podium for a powerful and uplifting first half. Experience the grandeur of And The Mountains Echoed: Gloria!, the spirited joy of A Hanukkah Festival, the dazzling charm of Christmas on Broadway with Susie Blank Wolfe, and the majestic sweep of Russian Christmas Music.

After intermission, Guest Conductor Andrew Keiser, leading the band through sparkling favorites including Deck the Halls, the serene beauty of In the Bleak Midwinter, the timeless Greensleeves, and the brilliantly clever Minor Alterations. You’ll also enjoy heartwarming selections from Home Alone and the high-energy fun of Julie Giroux’s Hark, Those Jingle Bells Are Smokin’!
