The Greater Miami Symphonic Band invites you to our “46th Season Grande Finale” concert on Sunday, May 18, 2025, at 6PM at Maurice Gusman Concert Hall, located on the campus of the University of Miami, at 1314 Miller Drive, Coral Gables, FL. Valet parking and PayByPhone parking are available.
We are thrilled to welcome guest conductor Dr. Tina DiMeglio for a powerful evening of music celebrating resilience, beauty, and joy. DiMeglio will lead the ensemble in a number of stirring works such as: “A Mother of a Revolution” by Omar Thomas, a tribute to courage and transformation, “One Life Beautiful” by Julie Giroux, a moving reflection on the grace found in a single life, and a few more.
Tina DiMeglio is a highly respected conductor and music educator known for her dynamic leadership and commitment to expressive performance. She has worked extensively with concert bands across the region, bringing passion and precision to the podium.
Music Director Robert Longfield will also take the stage to conduct a vibrant selection of works, including Alfred Reed’s “Alleluia! Laudamus Te,” John Barnes Chance’s dramatic “Incantation and Dance,” and more.
